1975 Buick Regal
Kojak - Who loves you baby? From 1973-1978 for
everyone but the criminals, the answer was NYC
detective Theo Kojak. Racing through the streets
of New York in his completely stock 1975 Buick
Regal, Kojak brought glamour to two unexpected
places. First, it made bald Telly Savalas a star
and matinee idol. Even more unexpected, it gave
glamour to all the mid-size GM cars, so much so
that even today they are referred to as "Kojak
cars".
